About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare, season, and cook dishes including soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts according to recipes and par guidelines
- Maintain food quality and freshness by checking ingredients and rotating stock
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas, equipment, and work surfaces to ensure sanitary practices
- Follow all health code requirements and food allergy procedures
- Operate kitchen equipment safely in accordance with OSHA regulations
- Communicate effectively with Back of House and Front of House team members in a high-paced environment
- Assist other cooks during high-volume periods as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of high-volume, full-service restaurant experience
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Required food and alcohol certifications as designated by location
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for a full shift

- Previous professional prep and cooking experience
