Line Cook

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and procedures to prepare sauces and food items according to prep lists and par guidelines
• Prepare, season, and cook various dishes including soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts
• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, equipment, and work surfaces to ensure sanitary practices
• Store, receive, stock, and rotate food throughout the workday per company standards
• Ensure food freshness by checking quality and regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, and roasters
• Portion, arrange, and garnish food for service to waiters or patrons
• Communicate effectively with Back of House (BOH) and Front of House (FOH) team members in a high-paced environment
• Adhere to all food allergy procedures and special dietary restrictions

Requirements

• Previous prep and cooking experience preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Must possess all required food and alcohol certifications as designated by location
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for full shifts
• Ability to work in environments with loud noises
