Line Cook

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, and cook various dishes including soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts following specific recipes and par guidelines
• Maintain food quality and freshness by checking ingredients, rotating stock, and regulating cooking temperatures
• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, equipment, and work surfaces to ensure sanitary food-handling practices
• Portion, arrange, and garnish food for service to waiters or patrons
• Follow all food allergy procedures and special dietary restrictions
• Work closely with Back of House and Front of House team members in a high-paced environment
• Comply with all health code requirements and safety regulations, including the proper use of knives and protective gear

Requirements

• Previous prep and cooking experience preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Required food and alcohol certifications as designated by location
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for a full shift
• Ability to work in environments with loud noises
