Line Cook

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, and cook dishes including soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts following established recipes
• Maintain assigned par levels of food items and follow prep lists
• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, equipment, and work surfaces to ensure sanitary practices
• Store, receive, stock, and rotate food according to company standards and health code requirements
• Monitor food temperatures and ensure freshness through proper rotation and quality checks
• Portion, arrange, and garnish food for service
• Communicate effectively with Back of House and Front of House team members in a high-paced environment
• Follow all food allergy procedures and special dietary restrictions

Requirements

• Previous prep and cooking experience preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Required food and alcohol certifications as designated by location
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for full shifts
• Ability to work in environments with loud noises
