Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to company specifications, build sheets, and recipes
• Set up and stock stations prior to service
• Re-stock station before completing shift and prep for subsequent shift
• Adhere to Kitchen Manager and General Manager’s instructions
• Maintain a sanitary work area
• Ensure food comes out to spec consistently and under an 8 minute ticket time

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a line cook or prep cook in a high volume or fast casual restaurant
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing menu items
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts or longer
• Valid Food Handler’s certificate or willingness to obtain one
