Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to company specifications, build sheets, and recipes
• Set up and stock stations prior to service
• Re-stock stations before completing shifts and prep for subsequent shifts
• Adhere to Kitchen Manager and General Manager’s instructions
• Maintain a sanitary work area
• Ensure food is consistent and delivered under an 8-minute ticket time

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a line cook or prep cook in a high-volume or fast-casual restaurant
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Ability to maintain accuracy and speed in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts or longer
• Valid Food Handler’s certificate or willingness to obtain one
