LIMS QC Specialist

Responsibilities

• Act as the LIMS system expert for Quality Control laboratories, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and training
• Manage and analyze data, including user access, specifications, calculations, and static data
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to execute LIMS projects at local and corporate levels
• Support and lead initiatives related to the validation of electronic systems used in QC departments
• Drive change management for all LIMS-related initiatives
• Ensure all activities comply with corporate Quality standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA)
• Participate in regulatory agency interactions during audits regarding QC operations and LIMS usage

Requirements

• Technical degree or Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within a QC laboratory environment
• Strong understanding of regulated environments and FDA expectations
• Bilingualism in French and English is required
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a demanding operational setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with LIMS, particularly StarLIMS
• Practical laboratory experience with electronic systems, analytical software, or connected instruments
• Expertise in Data Integrity requirements related to QC operations
• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements, including documentation, system validation, and audit readiness
