About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the LIMS system expert for Quality Control laboratories, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and training
- Manage and analyze data, including user access, specifications, calculations, and static data
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to execute LIMS projects at local and corporate levels
- Support and lead initiatives related to the validation of electronic systems used in QC departments
- Drive change management for all LIMS-related initiatives
- Ensure all activities comply with corporate Quality standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA)
- Participate in regulatory agency interactions during audits regarding QC operations and LIMS usage
Requirements
- Technical degree or Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within a QC laboratory environment
- Strong understanding of regulated environments and FDA expectations
- Bilingualism in French and English is required
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a demanding operational setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with LIMS, particularly StarLIMS
- Practical laboratory experience with electronic systems, analytical software, or connected instruments
- Expertise in Data Integrity requirements related to QC operations
- Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements, including documentation, system validation, and audit readiness
