Limited English Proficiency Instructor

Responsibilities

• Assess work readiness skills of participants
• Manage classes of individuals with limited or no English skills
• Conduct activities to enhance motivation and communication skills
• Assist with workshops and teaching of job readiness and life skills
• Administer tests to measure participant competency
• Assist participants in job search, barrier resolution, and work-life balance management
• Maintain time and attendance records
• Ensure adherence to center guidelines and regulations

Requirements

• Experience conducting group workshops or training for job readiness skills
• Prior experience supporting English Language Learners or non-native populations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, resume writing, and job search engines
• Excellent communication and public speaking abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and via virtual webinars
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to motivate diverse age groups and tailor learning activities
• Proficiency in English (Spanish is a plus)
