LIHTC Assistant Community Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing building occupancy, maintenance, and tenant relationships
• Conduct property showings, interviews, and process rental applications
• Manage income recertification, leasing, and re-leasing processes
• Collect and maintain accurate records of rent payments and rental activity
• Perform weekly property inspections and move-out inspections
• Communicate professionally with tenants regarding property issues and notices
• Collaborate with the management team to produce advertising and resident communications

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of property management experience
• Strong understanding of LIHTC regulations, income limits, and compliance rules
• Knowledge of affordable housing and government programs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Yardi property management software
