Lighting Systems Engineer (Electronics & Optics)

Responsibilities

• Analyze needs and define expected system performance for innovative automotive lighting modules
• Perform black box and white box functional analyses
• Explore system architectures and identify associated technical risks
• Define and lead Proof of Concept (PoC) activities to validate technical choices
• Participate in prototype debugging and failure analysis
• Write system requirements, justifications, and acceptance criteria
• Contribute to the design of functional and logical product architectures
• Collaborate with Design teams to ensure solution robustness and consistency
• Produce key deliverables including DFMEA and system specifications

Requirements

• Engineering degree in a relevant technical field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience (Senior level)
• Strong experience in electronics (Hardware or Software)
• Knowledge or experience in optics or optronics
• Proficiency in system requirements writing and architecture design
• Experience with communication buses such as CAN and GMSL
• Ability to perform DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
• Capability to analyze technical documents and datasheets
