Lighting Quotations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Quote low to moderate profile and complex lighting projects
• Review bid packages, including technical, commercial, and documentation requirements
• Partner with Outside Sales and branch teams to develop proposal strategies
• Format customer requests into standardized spreadsheets for bid review
• Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQ) to vendors and manage project deadlines
• Prepare and submit final proposals with all required documentation
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and suggest substitute products when appropriate
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors to secure optimal pricing
• Utilize digital tools to promote product knowledge and increase business

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in customer service, project management, or a related field
• High School diploma or GED required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PDF editors (such as Bluebeam or Adobe)
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within electrical distribution, lighting, or controls industries
• Knowledge of lighting applications and product specifications
