Responsibilities

• Own the development and stewardship of global lighting design standards
• Shape how lighting supports member experience, clinical function, and architectural identity
• Establish a scalable, globally consistent lighting strategy for the Location Design Playbook
• Drive lighting innovation for next-generation scanning environments and clinic typologies
• Provide concept-level creative guidance to regional design teams delivering projects globally
• Act as a brand guardian for the lighting strategy, reviewing and providing feedback on consultant documentation
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Hardware, Software, Medical Excellence, and Operations

Requirements

• Degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in architectural lighting design
• Experience developing lighting standards, guidelines, or playbooks for multi-site global organizations
• Deep understanding of LED systems, controls, and building management system integration
• Proficiency in lighting design software such as DIALux, Relux, or AGi32
• Strong understanding of lighting standards and codes (e.g., EN 12464, WELL Building Standard)
• Experience collaborating with architects, interior designers, and engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with lighting for branded retail, hospitality, or experiential environments at scale
• Experience in developing interactive lighting solutions
• Experience specifying and procuring lighting products for multi-site rollout
• Knowledge of sustainability considerations including energy efficiency and circular design principles
