Lighting and Appliance Installation Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform basic lighting and appliance installations according to manufacturer specifications
• Troubleshoot and diagnose appliance issues and provide service repair estimates
• Ensure all installed products are damage-free and fully functioning
• Interact professionally with builders, designers, and on-site customers
• Execute driver duties and responsibilities as required
• Complete necessary office paperwork and service call documentation
• Attend company-paid training seminars to stay updated on product changes

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid state-issued driver's license
• Valid DOT Medical card (or ability to acquire one)
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds frequently and 90+ pounds occasionally with assistance
• Strong mechanical skills and a willingness to learn
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with lighting, construction, kitchen, plumbing, or home appliance installations
• Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, or carpentry skills
• Possession of personal tools for installation work
