Responsibilities

• Design and implement lighting for characters and environments to meet art direction
• Light multiple types of scenes ranging from simple to moderately difficult
• Ensure assigned shots maintain continuity within the sequence
• Develop technical solutions and techniques that meet art and technical direction
• Meet productivity and quota targets
• Collaborate with supervisors and peers to exchange relevant show information

Requirements

• Knowledge of Katana, Maya, Linux, and UNIX
• Scripting ability in relevant languages
• Compositing experience is required
• Ability to provide a demo reel illustrating relevant artistic and technical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Arnold shading, volume rendering, and raytracing
• Knowledge of Nuke or other relevant compositing software
• 2-year diploma or 1-year certificate in a relevant field
