About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and implement lighting for characters and environments for assigned shots
- Ensure shots meet and improve given art direction and sequence continuity
- Develop solutions and techniques that meet art and technical direction
- Meet efficiency and quota targets
- Collaborate with supervisors and peers to exchange production information
Requirements
- Compositing experience required
- Knowledge of Katana, Maya, Linux, or UNIX is helpful
- Scripting ability in MEL, Perl, or Python is helpful
- Knowledge of Renderman shading, volume rendering, or raytracing is preferred
- Knowledge of Nuke or similar compositing software is preferred
- 2-year diploma, 1-year certificate, or 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Must provide a demo reel illustrating relevant artistic and technical experience
- Proficiency in English and French
