Light Welder

Responsibilities

• Perform standard production welds and basic repair welding
• Follow instructions and simple blueprints or work instructions
• Assist with equipment setup and routine maintenance
• Conduct basic visual inspections of welds
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Meet production expectations and follow quality procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on common steels
• Ability to interpret simple blueprints with guidance
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, both now and in the future
• Ability to work under close supervision with limited decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational welding training or apprenticeship
• Basic AWS or company-specific certifications
