Light Vehicle Mechanic to Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Upgrade

Responsibilities

• Carry out engine and truck rebuilds
• Service and maintain vehicles to OEM and statutory standards
• Diagnose faults safely and efficiently
• Manage work orders and repair requests from drivers and the workshop team
• Complete accurate workshop records, reports, and system entries

Requirements

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
• Statement of Attainment or USI transcript
• Commitment to TAFE training and completing requirements
• National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous exposure to heavy machinery or diesel equipment
• Residency in the Geraldton area
