Lifting Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all lifting operations on site including tower cranes, mobile cranes, and forklifts
• Ensure all lifting equipment and materials are maintained in safe, operable, and certified condition
• Enforce best practices in rigging and lifting techniques among all personnel
• Plan and prepare upcoming lifting activities, equipment allocation, and task scheduling
• Develop and enforce pre-start briefings and equipment-specific checklists
• Monitor the installation and operation of major equipment such as tower cranes and crawler cranes
• Review and ensure strict adherence to approved lifting plans
• Complete and upload daily pre-start reports and track equipment usage metrics

Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a construction-based Lifting Department
• Valid Appointed Person Certification
• Strong knowledge of lifting standards, regulations, and safe rigging methods
• Proficiency in plant and logistics operations and site logistics planning
• Demonstrated supervisory abilities and capacity to interpret technical documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
