Lift Truck Restock Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and power industrial equipment to manage receiving, picking, packing, stocking, or shipping of products.
• Use RF scanners or paper-based picking methods to obtain and transfer products throughout the distribution center.
• Perform shipping tasks including weighing, loading, and stacking materials onto trucks.
• Execute receiving duties such as unloading, stacking, and storing incoming vendor products.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following housekeeping practices and reporting potential hazards or property damage.
• Meet productivity standards related to assigned tasks and departmental goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 10 to 55 pounds repetitively.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6 to 10 hours per day.
• Basic computer skills and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
• Must be able to obtain certification through the Sally Beauty Lift Truck Training Program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Experience operating heavy industrial equipment or forklifts.
