Lift Truck Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other machinery, including performing pre-operating checks
• Load and unload barges and move product within the warehouse
• Stack product at heights ranging from 10 to 18 feet
• Utilize various attachments such as forks, grabs, clamps, and push-pull tools
• Use computer terminals or tablets to obtain assignments and provide accurate finished goods counts
• Adhere to strict safety standards and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Requirements

• Experience using a computer
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate machinery for 10+ hours per day
• Willingness to work weekends (at least one day) and overtime as needed
• Ability to work a day shift schedule (5:30am to 4pm)

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• One or more years of experience operating a forklift in an industrial or manufacturing environment
