Lifeguard

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons within the aquatics facility to ensure safety
• Act immediately and appropriately during emergencies until emergency medical services arrive
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while providing high-quality customer service
• Perform various maintenance duties to keep the facility clean and safe
• Prepare and maintain appropriate activity reports and administrative paperwork

Requirements

• Current Lifeguard certification from a recognized training source
• CPR Certification
• Experience working as a Lifeguard
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Skill in applying lifeguard surveillance and rescue techniques
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
