Lifeguard

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and patrons
• Maintain a safe environment by enforcing pool rules and regulations
• Respond to emergencies and provide necessary first aid or life-saving assistance
• Perform casual shifts of approximately 20-25 hours per week during the summer months
• Work standard daytime shifts (typically 10 AM to 1 PM, Monday through Friday) with occasional evening or weekend availability

Requirements

• Previous lifeguarding experience is required
• Current Lifeguard certification
• Current First Aid certification
• Current CPR/AED certification
• American Red Cross certifications are preferred
