About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute lifecycle marketing programs across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention stages
  • Serve as the enterprise subject matter expert and owner for Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Mailchimp, and Snappy Kraken
  • Audit and optimize the SFMC environment, including refactoring data extensions, automations, and governance
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of user flows, campaign logic, and data processes
  • Partner with IT to maintain list hygiene, data synchronization, and audience segmentation between SFMC and CRM
  • Develop and QA dynamic, responsive email templates using HTML, AMPscript, and SQL
  • Monitor campaign performance via KPIs and conduct A/B and multivariate testing to optimize ROI
  • Ensure strict adherence to CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other data privacy regulations

Requirements

  • 5+ years of digital marketing automation experience
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SQL, and AMPscript
  • Experience with data integration between SFMC and Salesforce CRM
  • Deep understanding of email deliverability, domain health, and reputation management
  • Familiarity with GDPR and CAN-SPAM regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in lifecycle or CRM marketing
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Email Specialist or Developer)
  • Experience with Salesforce Einstein and Mobile Studio
  • Proficiency with SFMC Intelligence (Datorama) or Tableau
  • Experience in financial services or other regulated industries
  • Experience using email QA tools like Litmus or Email on Acid
