Responsibilities
- Build, launch, and optimize email, push notification, and in-app messaging campaigns
- Design customer journeys based on user behavior, acquisition source, lifecycle stage, and engagement patterns
- Create lifecycle programs that drive activation, engagement, retention, resurrection, and monetization
- Develop sophisticated segmentation strategies and personalized messaging frameworks
- Analyze campaign performance and continuously optimize conversion and engagement metrics
- Build automated customer journeys and scalable lifecycle infrastructure
- Develop testing frameworks across messaging, timing, segmentation, and channel strategy
- Identify gaps in the customer experience and proactively propose lifecycle solutions
Requirements
- 3–7 years of lifecycle marketing experience
- Experience building complex lifecycle campaigns based on user states, acquisition channels, and behavioral segmentation
- Strong understanding of customer journey design, retention marketing, and lifecycle strategy
- Experience building automated workflows and customer journeys in modern lifecycle platforms
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making
- Excellent written communication and messaging instincts
- Ability to operate independently and proactively identify opportunities
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience at a high-growth startup
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with financial products, fintech, trading platforms, or consumer internet products
- Experience using Customer.io or similar lifecycle marketing platforms
- Strong understanding of product-led growth and user activation frameworks
- Experience building resurrection and re-engagement programs
- Familiarity with experimentation, A/B testing, and lifecycle analytics
- SQL or analytics experience
