Life Skills Support Professional 1

Responsibilities

• Work directly with adults with disabilities and developmental delays on social and communication skills
• Organize, coordinate, and implement activity units to build esteem and daily living skills
• Assist with personal care and participation in community activities
• Provide support and training to members in accordance with ISP goals and objectives

Requirements

• High School/Hi-SET with at least one year of human service experience, or an associate's degree in a related field
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Valid MA driver's license with 3 years of driving experience and a good driving record
• Ability to lift and transfer members up to 150 pounds
• Ability to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, and community organizations
