Responsibilities

  • Support the onboarding of new songs, clients, and related assets into internal databases
  • Research and resolve missing or incomplete catalog metadata
  • Manage catalog across digital platforms including YouTube, TikTok, and Meta by submitting claims and resolving conflicts
  • Investigate and resolve conflicts identified by the sub-publishing network
  • Confirm publishing ownership splits with record labels and performing rights organizations
  • Research catalog issues across direct sources to ensure content availability
  • Process, compile, and respond to ACK files for accurate catalog ingestion
  • Participate in departmental initiatives and process improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in music publishing, rights administration, or copyright
  • Working knowledge of music publishing agreements and royalty structures
  • Experience with Music Maestro or similar rights administration systems
  • Familiarity with ASCAP, BMI, The MLC, and other collection society portals
  • Experience with digital rights management platforms like YouTube CMS or Meta Rights Manager
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables)
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
