About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the Town’s water and sewer facilities
- Perform daily plant operations and system monitoring
- Conduct water sampling and maintain accurate recordkeeping
- Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Respond to operational issues and emergencies as needed
Requirements
- Applicable New Hampshire water and wastewater treatment certifications (or ability to obtain them within a reasonable period)
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work weekends and evenings
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
