Licensed Vocational Nurse

Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee comprehensive nursing care, including administering medications and treatments
• Assess residents' conditions and document care needs accurately in medical records
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed
• Supervise nursing assistants and participate in resident care
• Maintain effective communication across nursing shifts, departments, and resident families
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control policies, and state/federal regulations
• Respond to resident and facility emergencies

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing program
• Current and active LVN license in the state of California
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of acute or long-term care experience
