About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients per the State of California Nursing Practice Act
- Act as a Charge Nurse overseeing the care of 20 long-term care residents
- Oversee and direct care provided by Certified Nurse Assistants
- Work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current license to practice Vocational Nursing in the State of California
- Current CPR certificate
- Ability to obtain IV certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
