About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to certified nursing assistants (CNAs)
- Oversee the care and wellbeing of residents
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians
- Complete charting, treatment plans, and physician orders
- Manage the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents
- Conduct rounds with physicians as requested or necessary
- Orient and welcome new residents and their families
- Utilize Point Click Care (PCC) for clinical documentation
Requirements
- Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
- Full COVID-19 vaccination, including booster shots
- Demonstrated knowledge of long-term care patient needs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Proficiency with Point Click Care (PCC)
