Licensed Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, and administration of medications
• Collect and analyze laboratory samples including blood, urine, fecal, and skin
• Assist with surgical preparation, surgical procedures, and anesthetic management
• Capture diagnostic imaging and radiographs
• Manage nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases
• Communicate treatment plans effectively with clients and maintain accurate medical records

Requirements

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (recent graduates/newly passed VTNE are welcome to apply)
• Proficiency in anesthesia, surgical monitoring, and diagnostic imaging
• Ability to restrain pets in a low-stress and safe manner
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Availability for some Saturday morning shifts
• High work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of veterinary technician experience
• Experience with dental radiographs
