Licensed Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
• Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during surgeries and dental procedures
• Perform diagnostic tests and laboratory work, including blood draws and urinalysis
• Safely handle and restrain animals for exams and treatments
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status and treatment plans
• Maintain and sterilize equipment, exam rooms, and treatment areas
• Support records, scheduling, check-ins, check-outs, and inventory tasks

Requirements

• Licensed, registered, or certified veterinary technician preferred
• Experience with companion animals
• Ability to handle animals of varying sizes and temperaments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented and able to follow medical protocols
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and restrain animals
• Basic computer skills
