Licensed Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders in a virtual telehealth setting.
• Implement modalities such as Family-Based Treatment (FBT) and Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E).
• Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients, providing approximately 20-26 hours of direct care weekly.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, dietitians, and patient mentors.
• Perform mental health assessments, diagnoses, and maintain high-quality clinical documentation.
• Participate in mandatory clinical meetings, including group supervision and treatment huddles.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted, and independent psychotherapy license in New York.
• Ability to provide 30 hours of availability for direct patient care weekly.
• Ability to work until 8pm two evenings per week.
• Ability to deliver care effectively in a fully remote, virtual setting.
• Strong passion for evidence-based care and expanding access to eating disorder treatment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with eating disorder treatment or intensive treatment settings.
• Experience implementing Family-Based Treatment (FBT) or CBT-E.
• Experience supporting patients with trauma or suicidal ideation.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary care team.
