Licensed Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to customers and patients
• Support store success by managing key optical and lab processes
• Assist customers with product selection and recommendations
• Provide lens expertise based on vision needs and prescriptions
• Adjust, repair, present, and dispense eyewear accurately
• Perform digital measurements and maintain optical standards
• Train and support associates on product and store processes
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Current and valid state Opticianry license
• Strong optical and retail experience
• Knowledge of optical theory, merchandise, and basic optics
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
• Sales, problem-solving, and basic math skills
• Experience with cash registers, computers, and calculators
• Leadership and training experience
• Edging and mounting experience
• Optical measurement experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ABO certification in non-licensed states, if applicable
• LensCrafters Final Eyewear Inspector Certification
• LensCrafters Quality, Fitting & Adjusting Program
• Experience with optical machinery and instruments
• AccuFit Digital Measurement System certification
• Customer service experience
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and lens options
