Licensed Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure patients and customers are delighted
• Provide expertise on lens choices based on vision needs and prescriptions
• Assist customers with eyewear selections and provide product recommendations
• Perform accurate digital measurements, adjustments, and eyewear repairs
• Manage key optical and lab processes to ensure high-quality results
• Oversee edging, mounting, and the precise placement of prescriptions in lenses
• Maintain lab tools and systems, ensuring a safe working environment
• Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder and assist in training associates

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Current and valid state Opticianry license
• Strong experience in both optical and retail environments
• Solid knowledge of optical theory, merchandise, and basic optics
• Proven leadership and training experience
• Hands-on experience with edging and mounting
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and basic math skills

Preferred Qualifications

• ABO Certification or state licensure in non-licensed states
• LensCrafters Final Eyewear Inspector Certification
• Experience with AccuFit Digital Measurement Systems
• Knowledge of LensCrafters Quality, Fitting & Adjusting programs
• Experience operating optical machinery and instruments
