Licensed School-Based Mental Health Clinician

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical interventions including group, individual, and family counseling
• Lead weekly consultation sessions focused on student goals and documentation compliance
• Provide coaching and training to school administrators, teachers, and staff on mental health and trauma-attuned modalities
• Facilitate monthly evening Parent Support groups
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and refer families to appropriate levels of care
• Maintain timely clinical documentation within electronic medical records
• Collect and analyze student data such as grades, discipline, and attendance

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience treating children or adolescents with significant behavioral and emotional challenges
• Full clinical license in social work (LMHC/LCSW), counseling, or marriage and family therapy (LMFT) in Florida
• Significant knowledge of trauma-attuned modalities (TAM)
• Experience providing training and coaching to educational professionals and caregivers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with school districts
• Experience working with community mental health and social service agencies
