Licensed Psychologist

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and direct clinical service in operational psychology to support special operations forces (SOF) resiliency and readiness
• Develop, plan, and initiate resiliency programs to prevent and treat behavioral health issues
• Conduct psychological evaluations using clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources
• Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the DSM and provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups
• Practice within the guidelines of state licensing boards, APA Ethical Principles, and MTF privileges

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to obtain or maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance
• PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited institution
• Successful completion of an APA-accredited internship or residency
• Minimum of two years of peer-reviewable clinical practice in a mental health setting
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in a U.S. state, territory, or DC

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a government setting, such as the Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Treatment Facility (MTF)
