Licensed Practical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services and interventions to residents with stable and predictable health status
• Assist in the planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of holistic resident care
• Coordinate health services and support activities of daily living, including medication administration
• Collaborate with RNs and supervisors when resident conditions change or fall outside the LPN scope of practice
• Provide safety and health information to individuals and their families
• Participate in safety programs and follow OH&S directives regarding infection control and transfers
• Assist in the orientation of new employees

Requirements

• Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nurse program
• Current full practicing licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of B.C. (CPLBC)
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Computer literacy and ability to utilize various software applications
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
• Ability to undergo applicable background and screening checks
