Licensed Practical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility through medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing reviews
• Manage donor adverse events and evaluate reactions according to established SOPs
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings
• Support center operations by following medical and technical guidance from the Center Physician and Medical Affairs
• Manage employee incidents and support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives
• Participate in a rotating weekend schedule as part of regular shift requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate equivalent of a recognized nursing program
• Current LPN or LVN license/certification in the state of assignment
• Current CPR and AED certification
• Basic IV therapy certification per state requirements
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience
