Licensed Practical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care and perform technical skilled care within the patient's home
• Deliver services within the scope of practice defined by state nursing laws and the established plan of care
• Instruct clients' families on patient care and maintaining a healthy home environment
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition to supervising nurses or physicians

Requirements

• Current and unrestricted LPN licensure in the state of practice
• Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance
• Access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
• CPR Certification
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet patient needs
• Ability to function in diverse home environments regardless of client demographics

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in home care settings
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
