Licensed Practical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and procedure trays for patient use
• Escort patients, check vital signs, and record medical history
• Assist physicians with procedures such as suture removal and minor surgeries
• Prepare and package specimens for laboratory analysis
• Schedule diagnostic tests and facilitate physician referrals
• Coordinate with pharmacies, hospitals, and nursing homes regarding patient care
• Manage medication pre-certifications and insurance documentation
• Maintain manual inventory of drugs and medical supplies
• Ensure disinfection of exam rooms and lab areas

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Medical Assistant
• Proficiency in taking vitals, injections, and sterile techniques
• Strong oral and written communication skills for patient rapport and charting
• Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality
• Experience in a dermatology medical office preferred
• Experience with Modernizing Medicine / EMA EMR highly preferred
