Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Accompany provider in room during patient visits
• Perform patient triage including vital signs, history, and observational examination
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments within scope of practice
• Scribe in EHR including history of present illness, physical exam findings, and plan of care
• Assist with medical procedures as directed by the provider
• Maintain exam rooms with necessary supplies and ensure cleanliness
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnostic procedures, medications, and wellness
• Manage prescription tasks including renewals, prior authorizations, and medication reconciliation
• Perform routine tests such as electrocardiograms and specimen collection
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance

Requirements

• State LPN or RN Licensure
• BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of Dermatology experience
