Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing and personal care to patients in their homes
• Deliver care under the direction of a registered professional nurse
• Follow VNA Care’s policies, goals, and objectives to ensure patient safety and well-being
• Perform clinical tasks such as wound care, catheter care, and phlebotomy as required

Requirements

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
• Ability to work onsite in various Boston neighborhoods (South End, Charlestown, Fenway, etc.)
• Availability for a 40-hour per week schedule, Monday through Friday

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in Home Health care
• Experience with wound care and wound vacs
• Experience with catheters and ostomies
• Proficiency in phlebotomy
• Knowledge of managing CHF, COPD, and diabetes
