About the role
Responsibilities
- Administer medication in compliance with Federal, State, and company regulations
- Manage admissions of new residents including assessments and documentation
- Complete acute and long-term care or service plans
- Track clinical systems such as wounds or infection control
- Provide health-related consultations within the community
- Notify physicians and family members of changes in resident health
- Respond to emergencies and maintain safety/disaster plan protocols
- Maintain resident confidentiality and clinical documentation
Requirements
- Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
- CPR Certification
- 1+ years of experience in senior care or a related field
- Basic computer skills
- Proficiency in English
