Responsibilities
- Administer medication to residents in compliance with regulations and company guidelines
- Manage admissions of new residents including assessments and documentation
- Complete acute and long-term care or service plans
- Track clinical systems such as wounds or infection control
- Provide health-related consultations within the community
- Notify physicians and family members of changes in resident health
- Respond quickly to medical emergencies
- Maintain communication with all departments and staff
- Conduct educational meetings for residents and staff
- Maintain resident confidentiality
- Manage discharges and clinical documentation
Requirements
- Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program
- 1+ years of experience in senior care or a related field
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
- CPR Certification
- Proficiency in English
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks
- High tolerance for working under pressure
