Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents in compliance with Federal and State regulations and company guidelines
• Manage resident admissions, including all necessary assessments and documentation
• Develop and complete acute and long-term care plans or service plans
• Monitor clinical systems, such as wound care or infection control, under the direction of the director
• Provide health-related consultations and notify physicians or family members of changes in resident health
• Respond quickly to medical emergencies and maintain close communication with all staff departments
• Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to all safety and disaster plans
• Maintain a professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers

Requirements

• Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program
• Current LPN License in the state of practice
• Valid CPR Certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in senior care or a related field
