About the role
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents in compliance with Federal and State regulations and company guidelines
- Manage resident admissions, including all necessary assessments and documentation
- Develop and complete acute and long-term care plans or service plans
- Monitor clinical systems, such as wound care or infection control, under the direction of the director
- Provide health-related consultations and notify physicians or family members of changes in resident health
- Respond quickly to medical emergencies and maintain close communication with all staff departments
- Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to all safety and disaster plans
- Maintain a professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers
Requirements
- Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program
- Current LPN License in the state of practice
- Valid CPR Certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in senior care or a related field
