Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health, safety, and well-being of all residents
• Provide direct nursing care with an emphasis on holistic wellness
• Assist in training and monitoring medication administration
• Supervise care staff (CNAs and HHAs) in accordance with state regulations and community policies
• Maintain clinical quality assurance following federal, state, and local standards
• Conduct thorough resident assessments

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current LPN license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel)
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Knowledge of federal and state nursing regulations and techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health, or a hospital setting
• Experience working with residents living with Alzheimer’s or other related dementias
