Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
- Administer medications, monitor effects, and record vital signs
- Assist patients with daily living activities and provide therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate high-quality patient care
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care
- Respond to emergent situations and initiate necessary protocols to prevent harm
- Advocate for patient rights and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations
Requirements
- LPN licensure by the West Virginia State Board of Examiners
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in direct patient care
- BLS Certification from AHA, Red Cross, or ASHI
- Experience working with both pediatric and adult patients
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card holder
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and 12-hour shifts
