Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in primary care and specialty outpatient clinics
• Administer oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous medications
• Monitor vital signs and document patient histories and clinical observations
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention
• Assist with wound care, minor procedures, and emergency response
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Requirements

• Graduate of a state-approved practical/vocational nursing program
• Successful completion of the NCLEX-PN
• Current, unrestricted LPN license from any U.S. state, territory, DC, or Puerto Rico
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA
• Minimum two years of current primary care experience
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card holder
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Public Trust Clearance
