Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Responsibilities

• Perform LPN nursing practice under the direction of an RN or physician
• Observe and care for ill, injured, or infirm residents within scope of practice
• Collect nursing data and provide first aid for minor injuries
• Perform nursing procedures that safeguard resident health and safety
• Participate in the interdisciplinary treatment team
• Schedule patient activities and appointments
• Communicate with residents and their families
• Perform simple maintenance on medical treatment equipment

Requirements

• Active, current, unrestricted Kentucky LPN license
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to meet facility employment requirements
• New graduates are welcome
